National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme


National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme(NAPS) was launched in August 2016 by the Government of India to promote the Apprenticeship in the country by providing financial incentives, technology and advocacy support. Since then Govt. College for Women, Faridabad is playing their role for implementation and promotion of apprenticeship  under  guidance from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE),Govt. of India. Application of apprentices are invited through NAPS web Portal (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in). As per Norms of NAPS Act., Apprentice trainee are selected for Computer operator and Programming Assistant ( COPA) trade for the tenure of 1 year & also provide financial incentives per month. Subsequently, practical examinations are also conducted  as per the guidelines issued by MSDE.
